This year a traditional winter festival “Journey to Christmas” will take place in Moscow from the 14th of December to the 13th of January 2018. It will be devoted to literature and Russian fairy-tales. This month will be full of different interesting events: street theaters performances, workshops on making New Year’s presents, Christmas fairs with different traditional food kiosks and souvenirs all over Moscow in 78 places.
Tverskaya street will be closed for automobile traffic for 3 days (31st of December – 2nd of January) because it will become a huge celebration site with open-air theatrical, musical and dance performances.
Very interesting shows from Russian outstanding figure skaters will be at different skating rinks. These will be special ice theatrical performances: “Cinderella”, “Nutcracker”, “Snow White”, “Chipollino”, “Swan lake”, etc.
